The Chicago Cubs Report

Hey fans of “View for the Cubs Bleachers”, another blog you guys should check out is the “Cubs Report Blog” on ESPNChicago.com. It is a blog about everything Chicago Cubs. Bruce Levine, who has been covering Chicago sports for over 28 years, and Sahadev Sharma write for the blog.

This blog includes everything that is currently going on surrounding the Chicago Cubs. This is a very well written blog that has multiple new post everyday during the baseball season. It has extensive gameday coverage. It posts the Chicago Cubs lineup about three hours before each game when it is first announced to the media. The have extensive post game coverage, including rapid reaction from the Cubs clubhouse and around the league. Alos following the games, they get the players reaction on the win or loss.

This blog is written in a very casual but informative tone where almost anyone can read it. They do not use big word that make the blog posts hard to read. The topics on the blog that get the most comments are the one about player speculation. Either a player going to the disables list, call ups from the minors, or trade rumors. Also every Tuesday, ESPNChicago has a chat, where you can chat live with Bruce Levine about the Cubs. Along with the written blog posts, every once and a while you will find video clips on other baseball analysis talking about the Chicago Cubs, which is a nice change of pace for their blog's fans. Along with the “Cubs Report Blog”, Levine and Sahadev have their own Twitter accounts, which every Cubs fan should follow as they Tweet during the games.
